How APEX Started

Here's the honest version of the story.

A few years ago, running a solo business meant spending the majority of the workday on tasks that weren't the actual work — writing emails, drafting content, building proposals, planning strategy. The kind of tasks that eat 3–4 hours before you've done a single thing that directly moves the business forward.

When AI writing tools started getting genuinely useful, the question wasn't whether to use them — it was how to use them well. Not just playing with demos, but actually integrating AI into a real workflow in a way that stuck.

That process took months of testing. Dozens of tools. Hundreds of prompts. A lot of mediocre output that had to be edited into something usable. But eventually, a system emerged — one that now handles the communications, content, and strategy scaffolding that used to consume half of each workday.
